Christmas

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I did! I got a camera and we got a wii. It is so fun, but my arms are really sore from boxing you have to jab and just keep punching(not literally punch someone, but on the tv your person is punching someone else) and it makes your arms so sore!! My arms have been sore for about two days because on Christmas I played the wii with Alex Gokey and my arms have been sore since then! But the wii is really fun! If you don't know what a wii is then where have you been!?!?

Winter Concert

Today we didn't have school and tonight was Andrew's winter concert for school and he did good. He danced and sang, I think. He did good and I am proud of him!

Jingle Jog

Yesterday was our last day of school and at school we had the jingle jog. It was a run that was 1 mile and a half. I ran the whole time with my friend Casey and we were the first girls to finish and the fourth people(we crossed the finish line at the same time).

A Christmas Carol

Yesterday was Tuesday the 16Th and the whole sixth grade at my school went to The Herberger theater to see A Christmas Carol. It was really good and when we went there a bunch of other classes. About a week ago we read the book A Christmas Carol and we liked it but the play was a little bit different but that was OK. The play was still great!

Holiday Bazaar

Yesterday was Saturday the 13Th and my sister, my mom, and I went to a holiday bazaar for girl scouts. It was really fun! At the holiday bazaar people made crafts to sell and you could buy Christmas gifts there for other people. I didn't have a troop but my mom is the leader for my sisters troop so I went with them but I am like my own troop. I made little polar bears and potholders and or coasters.

Concert

Tonight at 6:30 I had a band concert, I play the clarinet. I think we were good and everyone was saying we were good so I think we were. It was so fun!

Christmas Tree

On thanksgiving we put our christmas tree up and I am going to show you a pretty picture of it.Guess what, I am at the top of it!!!!

Bad Luck and the Spelling Bee

Today was the spelling bee at school and I came in second just like last year the last word was rouge, I spelled it ruje(that is why Moulin Rouge is at the top of my music list)! The person who came in first was a girl named Lauren. Also before I got to school I was walking and for me to walk to school I have to walk through grass or go the long way, but I was walking through the grass and the grass was like a pit of grass like a big dip of grass and I was almost to the top and when I was about to walk up to the sidewalk and the sprinkler came on right in my face and I got wet on my whole left side, that was pretty bad luck!

I Miss My Daddy!

My dad left on a business trip the day after thanksgiving and is coming back Tuesday but he is getting back really late so I won't see him until Wednesday. I know some of you that are reading this and saying I don't care, but I really miss him! I can't wait for him to get back! (: (that is supposed to be a smiley face if you didn't know. You just look at it side ways, you turn your head to the right and you will see it.)

The Turkey Trot

Today at 7:00 in the morning was the turkey trot. There was a 5k and a 10k, I ran the 5k with my friend Casey and we got 4Th and 5Th place. My time was 28 min. and 36 sec., my mom ran the 10k and Maggie ran the 5k. My dad and Andrew drove around with Casey's dad and watched us. Casey is the one in the pink and I am the one in the gray. Sorry it is blurry, I guess my dad isn't the best at taking pictures!It was fun and now I get to have turkey and a lot of other good food!

The Turkey Bowl

Today at school was supposed to be the turkey bowl but it rained so we couldn't do it! But we rescheduled the turkey bowl to the day before the super bowl. Instead of the turkey bowl we played dodge ball, it was girls against boys and the teachers that were going to play were on the girls team. It was fun and we still get to have the turkey bowl!

The Mud Run

Today my mom did a mud run with 4 other ladies. They ran 4 miles and then a little before the finish line there was a mud pit that you had to crawl through. At the mud run some of the individuals and groups were dressed up in costumes. Some of the costumes were a reporter with a white shirt on and a little echoing microphone, there was a group dressed like caveman, there was a group dressed like the Incredibles, there was someone dressed like superman, someone dressed like Darthvador, pilgrims, ghost runners, angel, rocket runners (they had a little rocket attached to there back and it was not a real rocket), there was also a group that had crazy colorful wigs on, and last but not least there were teenagers that had sunglasses on and big fluffy scarfs and one had a pink wig on. So there were a lot of people wearing crazy costumes. At the end I was watching people crawl through the mud pit and there were two guys that came to the mud pit and one guy pushed the other one in. My mom and her team got in first place for groups of 5 women. The prize was a bottle of wine and Tide!

The Bee

Today at school I was in one writing class and we were going to do the spelling bee to see the two people that was going to do the spelling bee against the other two sixth grade classes and three fifth grade classes. I made it and so did one of my friend, Alexa who didn't think she could make it but did. The people that were ahead me which was about 7 people and they all got out on the word relevant and I was the one that got it right. Then, It was just Alexa and Me and she got the word candidate and I think she was about to spell it wrong but before she was about to finish my teacher told her to stop and said that we didn't have to do any more. So I have to study words for the spelling bee.

Tired

I am tired now because today at school I had running club and it started at 7:15 in the morning. I ran 4.5 miles. I would of ran five miles but I wasn't aloud, I had to go inside and eat breakfast. After school I had inter murals and it was basketball, we scrimmaged the whole time and it was fun. At first I did not want to do it but my mom made me and I am glad she did because I had fun.

The Stranger

Last night two friends, Callie and Casey(who are twins) came over two my house and stayed until about 7:45. At 7:45 I was going to walk them about half way to their house, then when I got to the caldesac (that I was going to let them walk the rest of the way at) we saw this car that had its music blasting and its headlights on was about to pull out of the parking lot right by the crosswalk and it seemed like it saw us and right before it pulled out it stopped, turned off its music and its headlights. We stood there for a about thirty seconds and it didn't move. So, we walked back to my house and told my dad and then he came with us and we walked them about the whole way to their house but when we walked past the car and got about 10 yards away he drove away and turned his music back on and his headlights.

Hi I am Christine and the title of my blog is called The CEO blog because my full name Christine Elizabeth Orr. I started doing this blog because it seemed like a good idea and my mom has a blog that she does. I like basketball, swimming, and track.I was born in Ohio and I moved to Arizona when I was ten and I am 12 now. I am in sixth grade. I have a brother that is four named Andrew and a sister who is 9 named Margaret but we call her Maggie for short (duh). Well that is all I have to say (type) right now.
